Securities Markets Programme (SMP). It is a specialised and intensive academic programme that helps potential students to acquire skill and knowledge of the securities market. Wide range of papers are taught along with hands on project in one term with a firm in the securities market. The thrust of the SMP is to prepare a cadre of professionals primarily for careers in the securities markets.
The applicants of the programme should possess: A Masters Degree of two years duration from a recognised Indian university OR A Bachelors Degree of three years duration from a recognised Indian university with minimum of two years post qualification relevant experience
Admission procedure consists of a written test and a personal interview. The written test would attempt to assess the following attributes of a candidate: Quantitative aptitude; Analytical and reasoning skills; and Language proficiency. The duration of the test would be 120 minutes.
The institute also offers PG Diploma in Financial Engineering and Risk management and PG Diploma on Bank Management. The duration is six months and is offered in part time mode.
