For admission to B.Tech courses at TIT&S, Bhiwani, at least 55% marks in the aggregate of any of the follwoing 3 subjects in 10+2 examination from from a recognised Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects alongwith anyone of the subjects out of Chemistry, Bio- Technology, Computer Science or Biology. A relaxation of 5% marks is admissible in the aggregate marks in case of candidates belonging to SC category.
Candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology course of a duration of 3 years or more from Haryana Board of Technical Education or its equivalent AICTE approved institution with at least 50% marks in aggregate of all semesters in any of the branches as specified in the Admission Brochure 2013-14 brought out by the Haryana State Counselling Society. The candidates having 3- Year B.Sc. degree from a recognized university with Mathematics as a subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible. A relaxation of 5% marks is admissible in case of candidates belonging to SC category.
Persons having the following qualifications shall be eligible for admission : (a) Those who qualify in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) with Bachelor’s degree in respective branch of Engineering & Technology from any Indian University included in the approved list of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) securing at least 55% marks in aggregate. (b) For Self-financing/Sponsored students : B.Tech/BE or any other equivalent degree in Textile Technology/Textile Chemistry/Fashion & Apparel Engg.,with atleast 55% marks in the aggregate from Maharshi Dayanand University or from any Indian University included in the approved list of the Association of Indian Universities or any other Equivalent Degree in the appropriate discipline/related discipline from a Foreign University recognized by the Academic Council of Maharshi Dayanand University for the purpose of admission to this course. The above list is just for guidelines. The Board of Studies in Engg. or Technology or Dean, Faculty of Engg. & Tech. of M.D. University can consider the additional relevant branches on case to case basis.
Admissions to M. E. / M.Tech. Programmes of all the State Universities of Haryana (except CCSHAU, Hissar) and their affiliated colleges/institutes shall be made through the centralized admission and Haryana Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (HCPET-2013) as per the decision of H.S.T.E.S. No candidate shall be admitted to M. E. / M. Tech. Programme in the participating University / affiliated Colleges / Institutes against any category without appearing in the Entrance Test.
