MCA
Eligibility

A pass in any Bachelor's Degree Course of minimum three years duration with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects. In addition to Mathematics or Statistics subjects, following subjects shall also be considered as eligible subject in this aspect.Discrete Structures, Numerical Analysis, Numerical Methods, Optimization Techniques, Digital Logic Design, Graph Theory, Operations Research, Fuzzy Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Complex Analysis, Design Algorithms, Functional Analysis, Probability, Numerical Skills/ Techniques, Data Structures, Differential Equations.Candidate should have passed a Bachelor's Degree Course which is recognized by University of Calicut. Candidate should have scored atleast 50% marks in aggregate (including subjects and languages) in the Bachelor's Degree Course. 5% of relaxation in the marks will be allowed in the case of candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe need only a pass in the Bachelor's Degree Course.

Entrance and Admission requirements

The government seats will be filled during the counselling to be held in Trivandrum based on the rank obtained in the Kerala Entrance Exam for MCA (conducted by CEE, Govt. of Kerala). Students who wish to join the government seats at NIELIT Calicut for MCA may opt for the Centre during counselling

Course Fee and Scholorships

Tuition fee will be charged as determined by Government of Kerala, Special fees and caution deposit also will be payable. If a student leaves the institution after one year of study or the closure of admission for the year, he/she has to pay the liquidated damages of Rs 30000.. Note:- If the Government of Kerala revises fees, the revised fees will be applicable from the date of revision.

M Tech
Eligibility

The institute offers M Tech in Embedded Systems and Electronics Design Technology. The course is affiliated to Calicut University and approved by AICTE.
The candidate should have passed the B.Tech course or equivalent from an institution approved by the University of Calicut and the All India Council for Technical Education.
d. Candidates should have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the engineering degree examination. For SC/ST candidates, a pass in the engineering degree course is sufficient.
e. Admission shall normally be restricted to those candidates who have a valid GATE Score.
f. However Non GATE candidates can also apply. They shall be considered against the vacancies of eligible GATE candidates. These unfilled GATE seats shall be filled with NON GATE candidates from KERALA state alone. They have to produce nativity certificate.
g. GATE score is not needed for Sponsored candidates.
h. Candidates who have passed AMIE/AMIETE Examination in Electronics and satisfying the following conditions are also eligible for admission.
a. They must have a valid GATE score
b. A Minimum marks of 55% for the section B in AMIE/AMIETE Examination
c. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the field of specialization after acquiring the qualifying degree
i. GATE qualified candidates who have appeared for the final examination may also apply.

The fee is Rs 60,000 per semester.

PG Diploma
Eligibility

The institute also offers PG Diploma in Embedded System Design, Embedded Wireless & Mobile Applications, Industrial Automation System Design,
VLSI and Embedded Hardware Design, ASIC Design and Verification, CAD/CAM, Software Technology, Information System Security.
