The Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management is a two-year, full-time, residential programme which is accepted by the Association of Indian Universities as Equivalent to a MBA degree, this program helps students to be groomed into capable specialized managers. The course includes materials like experiential Learning,, International Focus, Information Technology Orientation, and Social Sensitivity. The first year focuses basically on fundamental knowledge while in the second year one has to specialise.
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) (It may also referred to as Persons with Disability (PWD) categories], or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
One has to qualify the Common Aptitude test (CAT) to enter in to IIM after which he has to sit for the aptitude test as well as the personal interview for the final round of selection. Candidates are short-listed for Written Ability Test and/or Personal Interview on the basis of their performance in CAT, academic record, and relevant work experience. Final selection to the PGP would be based on criteria, such as the candidate's academic record, scholastic achievements, relevant work experience, and performance in CAT, written ability test, and personal interview. However, IIM Indore reserves the right to change the criteria at its discretion.
The course fee for resident Indians (for two years) is Rs. 13,00,000/- (Rupees Thirteen Lacs only) and Rs.19, 50,000/-(Rupees Nineteen Lacs Fifty Thousand only) for NRI Candidates.
This is a twofold programme where students need to master the relevant methodological tools of management research on one hand, and the advancement of the current body of management knowledge on the other. This is a four years management course which is funded by the government. Candidates should have either a Master’s degree in any discipline, with at least 55 per cent marks (High second class) and at least 50% marks at Bachelor’s degree level or a Five year Integrated Masters Degree programme in any discipline, with at least 55 percent marks or a Bachelor’s degree with complete professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 55 percent marks. or a B.E./B.Tech./B.Architecture /M.B.B.S Degree with at least 60 per cent marks. Such degree should be of at least 4 years duration.
Candidates having a CAT score of 80 percentile or above (valid for all areas) or GMAT score of 570 or above (valid for all areas) or Candidates having GRE score of 1150 or above (old version) or 300 or above (new version) (valid for all areas) or Candidates having GATE score of 90 percentile* or above (valid for OM&QT and Information Systems areas only) or Candidates having qualified UGC-JRF (valid for all areas). Please note that candidate should be qualified for Junior Research Fellowship and not just lectureship or Candidates not having any score or not meeting any of the above criteria may appear for a Research Aptitude Test (RAT) to be conducted by the institute on a pre-announced date. RAT cut off percentile is 80 among the candidates who take RAT in Indore or Candidates who have done their Post Graduate Diploma in Management/ PGP-ABM/ PGP-PMP/ one-year Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management or equivalent from any of the IIMs. Test scores are not required for such candidates. CAT/GMAT or other standard tests as specified above, the Personal Interview and the Academic Work and Academic performance are taken into account for admission. Apart from this the relevant Work Experience [teaching, research, management etc is considered apart from any other factor, as decided by FPM EC/ Areas concerned.
This is an one year residential program in IIMI.
The program module consists of Strategy, Leadership, and International Business so that the competitive skills of a person can be enhanced.To qualify in the same the student must have a bachelors degree, a valid CAT score, Minimum 5 years of managerial experience, Short listing will be done on the basis of scores from various regions of India.The application processing fee is Rs. 5000/- for resident Indians and U.S. $ 100/- for other nationals and non-resident Indians if you want to pursue this course.
Candidates are shortlisted for the personal interview on the basis of CAT/GMAT score , academic performance, work experience etc. All short listed candidates will be sent admission offers which can only be deemed accepted by the candidate if the institute receives an acceptance letter alongwith a payment of non-refundable commitment fee of Rs 100000/- (Rs One Lakh only) to IIM Indore within the stipulated time period mentioned in the offer. All the selected candidates have to register for the programme by first week of September.
The programme fee for academic year 2013-14 is Rs. 18,00,000/- (Rupees Eighteen lakh only) for Indian Nationals (Indian passport holders) and US $45,000 (U.S.D forty five thousand only) for Foreign Nationals (Foreign passport holders).
The five-year integrated programme in management (IPM) is a unique and creative programme to meet the aspirations of young students to become management professionals, change agents and societal leaders.
Eligibility criteria for this programme are 60% aggregate marks at Secondary/ X Std/ Equivalent and at Higher Secondary/XII/+2 level/ Equivalent for General and NC-OBC category candidates (55% aggregate marks at Secondary/ X Std/ Equivalent and at Higher Secondary/XII/+2 level/ Equivalent for SC, ST and PWD / DA candidates). All candidates meeting the minimum eligibility mentioned above are called for Aptitude Test.
Candidates are shortlisted for Personal Interviews based on their performance in Aptitude Test. Final selection is based on their performance in Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Interview (PI). Government of India reservation norms would be followed while admitting the candidates.
Tuition fee for the programme for the first 3 years would be Rs.300,000 per annum and for next two years would be Rs.500,000 per annum (tentative). This fee (is for tuition only) does not include boarding and lodging.
