2 years programme and is the flagship programme of the Institute.
It is designed to enable students to acquire the skills and capabilities that will enable them to reach responsible Global positions in management.The first year students are exposed to basic concepts in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Personnel Management and Human Resources Management, Quantitative methods, Operations and Behavioral Sciences through the 'core courses'. In the second year, students specialize in functional areas of their interest.
Eligibility:
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) category, this is relaxed to 45%). Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirement and are awaiting results can also apply.
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the CAT score. The short listed candidates are required to take a writing test and personal interview, and provide three letters of reference from persons who know them closely in terms of their academic/professional performance. Final selection is based on performance in CAT, scholastic achievement, work experience, performance in the writing test, interview, and the letters of reference. The international institutes are shortlisted on the basis of GMAT score.
The PGPPM is a two year programme and aims at strengthening the public policy and managerial skills of future leaders and senior managers from the civil services; and professionals from social, infrastructure and private sectors. It's a unique programme where professionals from Government and from the Non-Government sector come together in a classroom. The candidates have to be a graduate with ideally minimum 5 years work experience. Selection for open candidates is on basis of CAT/GRE/GMAT and the Government Candidates should be from All India Services or Civil Services and Engineering Services with minimum 7 years of experience.
Candidates are called for interview for admission to the PGPPM on the basis of academic background, CAT/GMAT/GRE score, work experience and achievements. The government candidates are selected on the basis of length of service, age and earlier training. The admission process is highly personalized as the committee seeks to learn about each candidate’s goals, interest in getting engaged with public system, present exposure to Indian and Global scenarios, and potential for success in public management. About 60 candidates are selected for the course. The course fee for open candidates, for the domestic component of the programme is INR 9,75,000 lakh. The course fee for Government sponsored candidates will be paid by the sponsoring Departments.
It is a two-year Post Graduate Programme that targets executives from all sectors of business.Participants are admitted to the programme based on a combination of requirements: - The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree of any of the Universities. Candidates who have Bachelors from any foreign countries are also eligible. The Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. Diploma holders cannot apply to this programme unless they also possess a Bachelor's degree. - The applicant needs to have a minimum of three years of experience in any industry as on April 1, 2014."
Applicants may take the Common Admission Test (CAT 2013) conducted jointly by the IIMs.Applicants may take GMAT. Those who have already taken the test may upload a copy of their valid GMAT scores along with the application. . Those who are going to take the test may have the score sent directly to IIMB.Applicants may also take GRE. Those who have already taken the test may attach a copy of their GRE scores along with the application. Those who are going to take the test may have the score sent directly to the PGPEM Office.Interviews will be conducted for short-listed candidates in Bangalore only.Final selection will be made based on the prior academic performance, duration and nature of work experience, CAT/GMAT/GRE scores, and performance in the interview.
The total fee is Rs 9,50,000 for Indian National.
The full-time Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) is an intensive one year residential programme created specifically for professionals with remarkable track records and five to fifteen years of work experience in a wide range of industries.The programme is intended for middle level executives having substantial work experience. The pre- requisites are: Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA 5 - 15 years full-time work experience A valid GMAT score Proficiency in English
