What do models do?
As we hear the word "fashion model" - glamour, camera, fun, and a lot of money comes to our mind. But for a fashion model it is a life of hard work, long hours of work, work outs and diets. Models are people who display, advertise and promote commercial products like fashion clothing, jewelry, cars, etc. People with good looks and fit bodies do well in this field. Career in modeling is also known as the stepping stone to enter the bigger industry of Films and TV. Models work with companies and designers to display products and new trends. They appear on ramps, advertisements in print, TV and websites. Though models have been used in art for centuries, the title of first "fashion model" is usually given to a French woman named Marie Vernet Worth, a shop assistant who worked with the designer Charles Worth in 19th century.
