Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent are eligible. The applications can be submitted online also.
The admissions are through Written Examination for all eligible candidates. The written examination consist of two papers to be answered in English. Paper I: GENERAL KNOWLEDGE & MENTAL APTITUDE (Duration: 1 hour) This objective type paper is the same for all candidates. General Knowledge will have questions on Art & Culture, Society & People with special focus on India. Paper II :SPECIFIC AREA APTITUDE(Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes) ;There will be separate question papers as per area of specialisation opted for i.e. Direction & Screenplay writing / Cinematography / Editing / Sound Recording & Design/Production Methodology. Candidates who are opting for the second choice of specialization have to appear for both the choices of specialization papers.ed in English.
The final selection will be based on the candidates’ (qualified in the Written Test) overall performance in the Interactive Orientation Session and the Viva Voce AND medical recommendations.
Rs. 17,500 per sem
A limited number of scholarships are offered to the students qualifying as per rules. The scholarships is awarded on a yearly basis;two scholarships per discipline, solely on the basis of academic performance i.e. on merit basis only. Further, students may avail of stipend that is being awarded by their respective State Governments, if offered, as may be applicable.
