Who is a psychologist?
Psychologists are professionals who study human mind and behavior. Psychologists help us in understanding individual, interpersonal and group behavior. The objective is to frame theories for better understanding, better management and development of human kind. Psychologists provide many different types of services as they are employed in various sectors.
Psychologists teach in universities, colleges and schools; and many psychologists provide counseling services and psychotherapy. Psychologists also develop psychometric tools and assessments to measure various aspects of behavior. They also use various tools and techniques for diagnosis of mental conditions and illnesses. Some psychologists diagnose mental and behavioral problems that are related to brain injuries. Some psychologists do research and work on improving the performance in organisations and some time sports also.
