After qualifying Masters' in Biology candidates have chance to apply for CSIR NET exam. It is an outstanding gateway for those who who want to make their career in Research and Lectureship field.
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) conducts the NET exam on the bi-yearly basis.
As per the latest notification CSIR NET 2018 will be held on 17th June 2018.
Candidates having or pursuing their Master’s degree in Science Stream are only eligible to take this exam.
They should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in Masters’ if they are from General/ OBC Category or if they belong to SC/ST/PwD categories they should have scored minimum 50% aggregate.
To apply for the CSIR NET exam candidate’s maximum age should be 30 years. SC/ST/OBC/PWD/female applicants have upto 5 years relaxation in age criteria.
