Guys ... indeed there's life beyond Engg. ... so many of them don't get jobs so what's the fun in joining an engineering college??

Vineet

There's no fun.. *most* guys who take up engineering are usually victims of peer pressure, parental pressure and the trend..

The process to select a perfect career is started from the school stage. So, students have to find their interested areas at their school stage, so that they can further take it as career choice.
If they are interested in science and technologies, then JEE Main 2018 Exam is the best choice to lead you towards your goal of getting desired career opportunities in future.
JEE Main is the top most leading engineering entrance exam. By qualifying this exam candidates can easily take admission in IIITs, NITs & CFITs.

For selecting the best colleges look at these parameters: Infrastructure, ranking, facilities, teaching quality, accreditation, international experience, practical exposure, enhancement programme and the most important placement. There are a number of career options after completing engineering, Engineers are more important than everyone else because we know that the engineer would quickly design something to save the other drowning person. The responsibilities of the engineer may include defining problems, conducting and narrowing research, analyzing criteria, finding and analyzing solutions, and making decisions. Much of an engineer's time is spent on researching, locating, applying, and transferring information. After completing engineering, you can go for further studies such as M. Tech, MBA according to your interest. List of some good universities that offer these courses: Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi, Assam Don Bosco University, Guwahati.

I don't think *most* people take engineering because of peer pressure.
Some of us actually have an innate desire to know and learn more about the sciences beyond what we already know.
