Is it better to study BBA or Bcom for more career options?

Rhea Gomez

Hey Parul, I think BBA would restrict you only to go for MBA, If I were in your position , I would go with BCom.
BTW, what was the cut-off BCom (Hons) at Hansraj, DU last year

Is it better to study BBA or Bcom for more career options? am like studying accounts and business very much

sonia

the subjects in both the courses are almost same..just the difference lies in the practical exposure and extracurricular activities and personality development touch given focus in bba..and it doesnt restricts u dat u can only do mba after dat..u can do whichever masters course u want..its just like any other bachelors course..but with an edge of personality development and business skills over b.com..

BBA is the best choice for one person if that person has unique idea about business administration... After bba you can go for MBA in various specialization . so make a wise choice .. BCOM course is more formal and requires the walk towards government related sectors.. Identify your interest first

BBA or B com both are good courses and both have their own values. BBA is a professional course where as B com is an educational course. Both are under graduate degree. Both are 3 years courses.
After B. com you can do M.com and MBA also both are master degree courses and now a days there is a very good scope of the MBA course so it is best to do a professional course.
And if you want to became a teacher or lecturer then it is best to do B.com and after that M. com. And if you want to join any company then it is bets to do BBA and after that MBA.
If you want to do MBA then it is best to choose BBA course. It has many scopes after that you will get good job in many companies and there you will get good salary also. and after doing work for 2 or 3 years in any company after that you can also change your company.

This is a three-year degree course at undergraduate level. It is a viable career option for someone who wishes to make a career in management sector. BBA offers in in-depth knowledge and skills in the area of Business Management and Entrepreneurship.Bachelor of commerce is also three-year degree course which is taken up by commerce students wanting to make a career in finance, taxation, and accountancy. I am from commerce field at professional lecturer at commerce college in Nagpur.

Ritika Bhardwaj

It depends on you, I would suggest you if you are commerce student then continue with that stream if you are not interested in commerce stream then do BBA. If you want to do MBA in finance, marketing, banking and financial services then B. Com. is better course for you. In B. Com you will study these subject as per your interest so you got an idea about the subject and that will you help in your MBA.
List of few universities which are doing good :
Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar
Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi
St. Xavier's College, Kolkata
