Life in an Engg. College. This is a thread where the participants discuss about how life would be in an engineering college, how much fun and how much slogging, parties, laboratories, experiments, etc. How tough would be studies, how much one would be required to study for exams? Does one stick to one’s branch or prepare for management studies?
My cousin at IITM was saying that he is really enjoying at IITM but the pressure is very high, some of his profs are very tough. I want to know about IITD and BITS Pilani. Want to know that, any help?
Hi, Sorry no idea about BITS.. Though if you are looking for electronics field, then I think UPES-Dehradun is the best university to go to. UPES is famous for its courses, faculty, infrastructure and placements across pan-Asia region. I guess their Btech admission process is also ON.. you should check their website for more information or their facebook page.
I got this web page from my pal who informed me about this
web site and at the moment this time I am browsing
this web page and reading very informative posts at this place.
BITS is a wonderful option and student life and his/her course tasks are very challenging.. One should not be limited in choosing good college/universities. Why not try something different friends in life- a challenging path and life -taking journey.. " To shine like a sun, first of all burn like a sun"- APJ ABDUL KALAM...
Life in an engineering college isn’t just about studying and hard work, it’s about balance. Offering a wide ranging sporting and recreational programmes that caters to all Students regardless of age and background. Sports and Cultural activities exist at both recreational and competitive levels. My brother is studying B. Tech(Electronics and Communication Engineering) from Lovely Professional University. I have seen his growth in academic as well as, as a human being, LPU provides a platform for the student to enhance their skills in sports, co-curricular, cultural activities, practical exposure, etc. He told me about the student organizations of which he was a member. His team conducted a fundraising event so that they can provide useful things to a school and an old age home. Their team also took orphans to a science city tour. They had organised much free health check-up camp in villages. All these activities have improved his managing skills, time management, presentation skills. I noticed that after joining LPU he improved a lot.

Excellent interaction with Dr. Anubhuti. We came here very confused about what our child should or can do. Going back with a lot of information and a lot of clarity on his aptitude and possible options. Dr. Anubhuti is warm person and she answered all our questions, however silly, with patience. Very happy with the session. Thanks....Click here for more info
It's been a very warm and informative interaction with Dr. Anubhuti Sehgal. She explained in detail the aptitude and personality traits of our child and provided clearly the career options that we could assess further. The report of Mapmytalent provides in depth the details of the child's characteristics and career options, and the visuals are a treat to the eye. It brings in a positivity to the assessment as well.Dr. Sehgal, it was a pleasure interacting with you....Click here for more info
